The two-leaf and bud selection really shows in the brew—it's rich and malty but with a smoothness that doesn't turn bitter even with a longer steep. I've been drinking it every morning since it arrived and the tin keeps the leaves perfectly fresh.
The first flush leaves are so tender you can see the tiny buds mixed in, and they brew up a deep amber cup that’s rich without any bitterness. I’ve been reaching for this every afternoon since it arrived, and the malty finish lingers just long enough to make the next sip feel necessary.
The maltiness is exactly what I hoped for—rich and deep without any harshness. Brews up a lovely amber cup that holds up to a splash of milk, and the leaf quality from that first pick is clearly top-tier.
