L'Earl Grey tradizionale è originariamente un tè nero importato dalla Cina, ora prodotto in tutto il mondo. Il tè prende il nome dal Primo Ministro britannico, Earl Charles Grey, che fu il primo a portare questo tè in Inghilterra dopo un viaggio avventuroso dalla Cina.
