Brewed this for my afternoon tea and the aroma filled the whole kitchen before I even poured it. The fullness lives up to the description, and the strong, musky notes hold up beautifully even after two steeps. Already looking forward to the next cup.
The dry leaves have that classic muscatel snap, and the aroma fills the cup before you even pour it. Brewed up, the body stays light but the strong finish lingers exactly as you’d want from a first flush. This is my go-to afternoon pot now, and it’s hard to go back to cheaper blends.
The liquor comes out a rich amber and the strong aroma fills the kitchen before I even take a sip. This is my second tin and the fullness holds up brew after brew — perfect for that slow afternoon ritual.
