The pineapple bits are a nice surprise — they add a subtle sweetness that balances the earthy sencha really well. The elderberry and quince aroma comes through clearly in the steam, and the brew turns a soft golden color after about two minutes.
The thistle petals give it a pretty look in the cup, and the elderberry-quince aroma comes through nicely without being too sweet. Brews up smooth with a gentle tropical hint from the pineapple that lingers just right.
The dried pineapple bits are a nice surprise—they soften up in the cup and add just a hint of sweetness that balances the grassy sencha. The elderberry aroma comes through more on the nose than the taste, which I actually like. A solid everyday green that’s a little more interesting than plain.
