The strawberry in the Nippon Green is really forward and sweet, which I wasn't expecting from a green tea. I've been cycling through the four bags all week and the unflavoured one is a nice palate cleanser after the fruitier ones.
The vanilla in the Nippon Green is subtle, not fakey-sweet, which is rare for a flavored green tea. I've been cycling through the four bags all week and each one brews up clear and smooth without any bitterness, even when I leave the bag in a bit too long.
The strawberry in the Nippon Green is subtle, not artificial, and the sencha base stays smooth even after a longer steep. I opened the box just to smell the vanilla one and ended up brewing three cups back to back. Definitely a nice way to switch up my afternoon routine.
